Based in Dallas and Buenos Aires, Hicks Trans American Partners (HTAP) is the Latin American arm of Hicks Holdings, the Texan investment firm led by Tom Hicks, founder of Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Incorporated (HMTF).
In the region, HTAP seeks investment opportunities in diverse industries, as well as in the development of real state projects. Most recently, it has acquired Grupo Pilar S.A. and undertaken several hotel and real estate developments in Argentina, including: Dos Valles (Bariloche, Argentina), Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Patagonia (Bariloche, Argentina) and El Desafio Mountain Resort (San Martín de los Andes, Argentina).
